Cookie Notice
Last updated: 12 July 2026
This notice explains how Lotra uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website or use our software-as-a-service platform ("the Service").
1. What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owner.
2. Cookies we use
Lotra currently uses strictly-necessary cookies only:
- Authentication & session: keep you signed in, remember which workspace you are viewing, and protect against cross-site request forgery.
- Preferences: remember non-tracking UI settings such as your theme (light/dark) and sidebar state.
These cookies are required for the Service to function and do not require your consent under UK/EU law.
3. What we do not use
- No advertising or marketing cookies.
- No cross-site tracking cookies.
- No analytics cookies today. If we add analytics in future, we will request your consent first via a cookie banner and update this notice.
4. Third-party cookies
When you make a purchase, our payment processor Stripe may set its own cookies to process your order and prevent fraud. See Stripe's Cookie Policy for details.
5. Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent parts of the Service (in particular sign-in) from working correctly.
6. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email.
